Hidden Gem

William Paterson has a lot of great places to relax, but my spot is in Preakness Hall because very few people are in this building to begin with.  There's a third floor, which I just found out existed because I thought there were only two, and one seat that overlooks University Hall.  It has a great view of the mountains in the background.  It also has a power outlet so I can charge my laptop or phone.

I like being alone. It's very blissful to watch a video or listen to music with the scenic view in the background.  I've always liked my alone time because it gives me time to just think about anything and be imaginative.

My other spot is in University Hall because I like the design of the building.  All glass pane walls in the front of the building.  It's very open which I like because you can see outside and get some sunlight.  I think everyone has their own spot on campus, what is yours?

RINSE, WASH, REPEAT

I've never seen Groundhog day, but the story of it seems like something I have heard of.  A movie called "Happy Death Day" where a girl gets killed at a party and she keeps reliving it trying to figure out who killed her.  I don't think I would want to relive any specific day in my life because I would have already experienced it.  One of the best times of my life was when I went to the Outer Banks with my best friend and his family.  A week at the beach and in a three story beach house.

Another way of looking at this would be if you could live a day in the past as if it was the first time.  To that, I would say that I would relive the day that I went on cruise with my family.  We went on a cruise around the Caribbean and it was beautiful to see and explore.  We went scuba diving, zip lining and sight seeing.  All of the different animals and cultures around the Caribbean are very fascinating.  I was about 13 at the time so I didn't get to fully appreciate the adventure, but I would want to relive it at my current age.  What was your favorite moment in your life and would you relive it?

My name is Jimmy and I’m from Roxbury, New Jersey.  It’s about a 45-minute drive from William Paterson, but it’s not that bad of a commute.  I got my associate’s degree in Digital Media Technology at the County College of Morris, but now I am a Media Production major at William Paterson.  I’m very interested in the technology aspect of the major because I love the advancement of technology.  Hopefully I can land a job for a news station or tv show.  My dream would be to have my own talk show like Jimmy Kimmel or Jimmy Fallon.  It seems like a fun and personable job which I believe are my best qualities.  I know the industry is based a lot off of who you know so I wish that I knew people to get me a job, hopefully it all works out in the end.  I enjoy playing video games, soccer and watching movies/tv shows.  Now that I’m writing this on paper, I’m realizing I don’t do much.
